same as MaMaManchi. I've gotten the hang of looking at the screen instead of the tablet but now i have no idea how to make anything. lol i realized that lines are thicker than most i see in pictures on here and i have no idea how to make it look so fine instead of blucky like the pony pictures. anyone know what i'm saying? ^^;;

I looked at some of the art you have posted, and your lines aren't that thick :3
What program do you use for drawing?

My trick is to do lines on a large canvas, then scale it down so the lines get finer xDD

Programs like open canvas and paint tool sai are able to make very smooth fine lines on their own though :3

in that one i used photoshop elements but i dont know that program very well, like how to turn on the pressure sensitivity sometimes, so now i'm using GIMP.

lol that could work.

I have never head of open canvas i'll check it out. thing is that i dont have money to buy the expensive programs and my major is not art related.

Well i use sai too. Actually, i introduced it to Sessie lol. : p
i like it a lot. It's not that pricey, there are a lot of customization options, and also a lot of auto-smoothing options.

i'm not very good at new programs and i dont plan on majoring in art either; but yeah, Sai is definitely an option.
You should try it out. (' v ') Maybe you'll like it...?

I've gotten the hang of the whole 'no longer using a mouse for.. anything ._.'

But I've never really been good with art in general..

xDD
You've gotten over the trickiest part; looking at a screen instead of your hand.

For art, the best I can do is suggest practice :3
Anything from big projects to doodle pages is fair game ^-^
